Dr. Deems has been in practice since 1987, and has received many awards and honors in dentistry, including Fellowship and Diplomat status in several national dental organizations. He holds memberships in many others, and is an honor graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. As a professional coach, he is a member of the International Coach Federation and Coach U, and he co-founded the Dental Coaches Association, an association of professonally trained personal and business coaches who are also dentists.

Lastly, one of the many unique aspects about coaching is the relationship that develops between the coach and the client. I find that sharing about who I am – besides you knowing my training and qualifications – deepens the relationship more quickly, and creates safety and appreciation in the relationship and for us as individuals. Change and growth takes place more readily in an environment of safety, trust, and confidentiality.
